MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Conduct
Members must follow all academy rules relating to behaviour, safety, dress code, and equipment use.
We expect respectful, safe training at all times.
We may update rules where necessary. Continued membership means acceptance of those updates.
2. Membership Fees
Membership fees are payable as agreed at sign-up.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we are unable to provide the service.
Non-attendance does not pause, reduce, or cancel payments.
We do not monitor attendance levels.
3. Pricing and Fee Reviews
We may review and adjust membership fees from time to time.
This includes, but is not limited to, annual review in line with operational costs and inflation.
Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided before any changes take effect.
Continued membership after a change means acceptance of the updated fee.
4. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
We may retry collection
Access may be suspended until payment is resolved
All outstanding amounts remain payable
We may take reasonable steps to recover unpaid fees where necessary.
5. Membership Freeze
Members may request a freeze:
Minimum 1 month
Maximum 6 months
Up to 2 times per year
14 days’ notice required
Freezes are only valid once confirmed in writing.
6. Cancellation
You must give at least 10 days’ notice before your next billing date.
Any minimum term must be completed.
The 14-day cooling-off period applies under UK law. If you train during this time, we may deduct the value of sessions used.
7. Academy Closures
The academy closes on bank holidays and for a reduced period over Christmas and New Year.
These closures are included within your membership pricing, which is calculated as an annual cost spread across monthly payments.
No refunds or credits are issued for planned closure periods.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate membership where reasonably necessary, including:
Breach of academy rules
Unsafe or disruptive behaviour
Abuse towards staff or members
Non-payment
Any conduct that negatively affects the training environment
In serious cases, termination may take effect immediately.
9. Termination by Us
We reserve the right to terminate a membership where we reasonably determine that continued participation is not appropriate for the academy environment.
This decision will always be made in the interests of safety, fairness, and maintaining a positive training environment.
10. Children
Parents or guardians are responsible for children outside supervised classes.
Children must not be left unattended.
11. Damage
Members are responsible for damage caused through negligence or misconduct.
12. Personal Property
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.
13. CCTV
CCTV operates for safety and security.
14. Health and Risk
Training involves physical contact and inherent risk, including injury.
You confirm you are fit to participate and will inform staff of any relevant medical conditions.
You train at your own risk.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
15. Parking
Parking is at your own risk and subject to local regulations.
