History in the making: Sumo wrestling debuts in Southampton

A big day for Southampton Sumo!

We were pumped to host the city’s first ever Sumo Wrestling session - and what a turnout!

Coach Sonny from London Sumo Club led a great intro covering the basics, followed by some friendly (but competitive!) rounds. We were also lucky enough to welcome Mike from Honu Sumo in San Diego - thanks for joining us on the dohyō!

Post-sumo refuel at Roppongi for Japanese food hit the spot
